So it looks like we will more than likely do the pizza cutter. How do we make it known it is one per couple?

The weddings i have been too in the past that have one favor per couple, usually place them on the top of the table kind of in-between two plates.
But when you give the hall the tables and count, you will tell them how many favors per table too.

If you are placing them on the table I think your guests will figure it out. Or if you are having your waiters hand them out then just tell them it's one per couple.

you can put it on every other plate, or you can hand them to guests as they leave... FHs cousin did this at her wedding, she had all the favors wrapped and as we said goodbye (we had to leave early) she handed us a large box (she gave out platters). you could do that or have one of your BMs in charge of hadning out favors.
