mine was a box of chocolates ('twas the 1st edible favor i received. haha)

Wine (it was a BIG hit at my son's christening)
I attached a bottle stopper and customized a label with the baby's face on it..
EVEryone loved it..
my hubby said i couldnt do it again for the wedding so we ended up doing a salt/pepper/napkin caddy.. and i enjoy seeing it over people's houses when we go..

my sister gave these gourmet looking olive oil favors out at her wedding. they had like sage and other herbs in the bottle like flavoring it. i thought that was a pretty practical favor and my other sister gave out measuring spoons and that was pretty cool because we still use them and her wedding was two years ago.

wine & a glass cutting board in the shape of a wine bottle w/ a cheese knife/spreader
& one wedding we got a HUGE box of Godiva chocolates - now THAT was a good favor!...lol

i have never recieved a wedding favor that i LOVED. all the favors ive gotten have either been thrown away or i didnt even bring em home. the most memorable was my cousin's favor though. it was one coffee cup and saucer. but what am i going to do with ONE coffee cup and saucer??? it was gorgeous but idk where it is......

so far.. i never had the best wedding favor.. always got the typical swan, dove, almonds... i dont complain..just wasnt a 'WOW' favor...

I loved getting a bottle of wine at my friend's wedding.
And I always use the wine bottle stopper favors given out at weddings too.
We did a donation to the charity of the doctor that treated my mom (and saved her life) for breast cancer.
It felt really good to give back.

We are getting travel coffee mugs and having coffee set up so they can get a coffee to go (its gonna be COLD outside)
