We have to take ours next Tuesday . . . They say the test will take up to 4 hours??? Is that true? What could they possibly ask that would take so long? Isn't it just a multiple choice test to see if you have compatibility regarding finances, children, etc?
Four Hours!! I don't think so! It is like 200 M/C questions - they explain how to do it and then you take the test. If you are a REALLLLLY slow test taker, it might take two hours but other than that, we were out in one and a half hours!
It is 156 multiple choice questions. Our church as well as my aunt and uncle, they are pre cana instructors, said to allow an hour for the test. They might have meant four hours between the two appts. To allown 2 hrs, at most, for the test and two hours for the f/u appt. with the deacon or priest.
I think we got through the test in about 45 min- an hour. Then the appointment we had with the couple was about an hour to an hour and 15 min. The couple we met with said most appts. last about an hour.
As long as you are not an interfaith couple or anything else, it is 156 questions...We took ours on Sunday & we were done in 35 minutes
Actually we did not even do it. My pastor ask us a bunch of questions that was it.
It took my fiancee and I about 1.5 hours to complete...but we are 'interfaith' so we had some additional questions. I found them tricky--lots of double negatives...Good Luck!
I just started pre cana and they didn't mention a FOCUS test. Does everyone take it?
