Not that my shower is around the corner exactly, but in preparation I asked Fortunoff TWICE to mail me those little registry cards (still don't know if we will give them to my sister to put in shower invites, but anyway..) Fortunoff still has not mailed them to me. I registered there about 4 months ago and asked twice since then, last time about a month ago.
I think I am going to de-register there.

You are probably better off just going there to pick them up, it will save you time in the long run and I dont think you even need the cards. My mother didnt put them in mine and all of my gifts came from the registery. I also want to add that I didnt get any doubles.

Pick them up in person. Whenever I asked ANY of my vendors to mail me something, it only happened 50% of the time.

I got scared...for a second...I am going to register at fort...
I am moving very slow..I 2 would pick up the cards items....that I have been waiting for...in person.

Another vent from me too...just got an email form them telling me my flatware has been discontinued. After I spent almost an hour just on that! So annoying. Some have the 'not recommended for bridal registry' signs just for that reason, but the one I picked didn't. Ugh!

That's definitely annoying but I don't think that's Fortunoff's fault. That's the manufacturer - if they're discontinuing it, there's nothing the store can do about it.

Yeah pick them up in person. I never heard of them mailing them to you. That's what I did, one day after I registered and brought back the scanner, I asked for them.

Same here. Although, we just registered a few weeks ago and I have only heard good things about fortunoff. I guess we can't all have a smooth exp. We also registered at BBB and they actually mailed us a little welcome packet which had the cards in it. I am surprised fortunoff doesn't do that too. But then again, BBB is nationwide, fort. is not.

I put a knife set on my registry, and at the time one of the store clerks told me they did not have it in the store but my guests could order it and it would be delivered within a week. it was a recommended item. one of my guests ordered them in early march, my shower was this past weekend and they still had not come in. should I call them or go down there? if it wasnt a recommended item I would not complain so much

At least they notified you! I recently shopped off my cousin's registry at Macy's and so many things were discontinued - unbeknownst to the bride & groom. That's worse because they didn't know there was a problem.

i agree with Adrianna....
besides as long as they you are registered there, they're just gonna pop in the store and use your name or Fh's name to pull you up.... no worries

When I called they told me I can only pick them up Maybe it depends on how many you need or something. I tried to do it on the website but it would not let me
