Another Goodbye for Now..
As JimmysBride posted earlier, this will probably be my last day on this wonderful site. Thank you for letting me vent, let anger out, and even pour my heart out when family drama totally ruined my engagement memories. You girls are truly the best and even though since I am in CT I did not get to meet any of you, I know you all are such good hearted woman. DBcrosby turned me onto this site and she warned me it would be addicting and it soo is.. I think I have been on LIweddings more than I have actually gotten work done in the last couple months.
I have gotten so many ideas, suggestions, referrals that are priceless!
I promise to write a full review and post some pictures when I get back from my honeymoon in Aruba. Can't wait for Vacation!
To my fellow Oct 9th girls-I will be thinking of you guys on Saturday! Best wishes and Congratulations!
ETS: I wanted to give you girls an update on my weekend in the city with my parents. For those who don't know, the short of it-BM didn't do a damn thing for my bachelorette party, parents took me to the Plaza Hotel this past weekend.
I do not recommend the Plaza unless you plan on spending $$$$$ on a Suite. They treated us badly-service wise in the hotel. Our room was sooo Dirty!! Understanding that the hotel is really old, but no excuse for moldy shower and shower curtains! I was a little disappointed I guess since my expectations were soo high because I wanted to go there since I was a little girl. THe oak room was good, had some problems there too, my filet mignon came out ICE cold!! But they redeemed themselves, but the hotel did not. Ritz Carlton, Waldorf-Astoria here I come!
Otherwise my weekend was wonderful, it didn't rain the city, I took a horse and buggy ride through central park, bought a couple knock off pocketbooks. My parents wanted to buy me a real louis vatton but the store closed at 6pm! Damn, there goes that chance ever! It was a memorable night, I adore my parents for doing this for me when my BM's fell short. We walked around the city and had some quality time without wedding talk. It was really nice, they made me all teary eyed..
