Another gown question...

Can anyone recommend gown shops that have a big selection for you to try on? The problem I'm having down here, is that all the stores only carry a few dresses to try on. They can get anything you want, but they don't have one to try on. I've seen one's I might like in some of their catalogues, but I'm not buying a dress I can't try on. I've tried on dresses I thought I liked, and turned out to be ugly! I'll be in Suffolk County, but most of my vendors are in Nassau, and I'm sure if I get desperate enough, I'll go almost anywhere. Another gown question...

Although the store I am suggesting is not on LI I think it is your best shot. You should try RK Bridal on 39th Street in NYC. They have a huge selection. They do not have great sales help but they do have a pretty good selection of dresses.

I just went to Bridal Reflections this past weekend and they have a great selection and very helpful people! They are located in Westbury and Massapequa.

Paradise Bridals, Patchogue

I got my dress here, and they have a huge 'try on' selection for brides and maids,and the service is great( I delt w/ Peter Sr. the owner, but Rachel assisted). Another gown question...Bridal Suite of Centereach

After going to about 3 dozen stores I purchased my gown at Bridal Suites of Centereach. Debbie is wonderful and works with you in every aspect. They have many samples to try on. They also will get you a picture of your dress when you request it. They have been wonderful.
