Another Hair/Makeup Gripe!

Why does it seem like most salons, hair/makeup poeple charge A LOT more for the bride?? Do we have different hair or skin because it's our wedding day? My friend went to a salon on her wedding day and was charged $140 for her updo!! Her sister, who was her MOH, got a very similar hairdo at the same salon and was charged $60!!! Was the extra $80 for sticking her tiara on her head???
It makes me want to go to a salon without my veil or headpiece and not say that I'm the bride!

It's basically b/c we are just that THE BRIDE!!!

We are in the spotlight from the moment we get up till the moment we go to sleep. Our face is in a ton of pictures, close ups, ppl touching us, hugging us, kissing us, and more.

We are on the constant run. Up, down, hug, kiss, sit, stand, greet ppl, smile pretty for the camera, basically we are the princess.

We are more b/c of just that.

Once you say that W wording or even the B word everything is like double the price.

IMO, the wedding industry are a bunch of crooks; honestly. Like someone mentioned, if you mentioned wedding, the prices double. Florist charge so much, make up people charge a fortune and photgraphers are the extreme.
