FH and I want to book our helicopter tour, and we were wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to when the best time of day was for the ride. TIA!

Hey- the best time of the day is in the late morning. Hawaii tends to be very cloudy in the moming, but the clouds usually roll out by late morning. we took a helicopter ride on the Big Island over a volcano and the city of Hilo and it was amazing. one thing is that the helicopter pilot makes sharp turns in the air to make sure the people sitting on the opposite ends of the helicopter can see what he is pointing out and it makes you very very very sick. i don;t suffer from motion sickness and I almost puked my brains out. so if you suffer from motion sickness, you may want to re-think the helicopter. good luck!
