I probably have only 4-5 rooms being booked...do you guys think I'll still get some sort of discount or should I just offer my guests 3 different choices of hotels and let them take it from there.

You mean, there are only 4 or 5 couples from out of town? Most hotels won't block off rooms if you aren't having anyone book them... i also know that some of them make you guarantee a certain minimum... Not positive though.

We blocked at the Red Roof Inn & The Holiday Inn in Westbury and neither hotel had a minimum requirement. If only one room was booked in our block, the discounted rate was charged. Double check that with the individual hotel though.
We didn't have that many OOT'ers but some people that live a little far (an hours drive) chose to stay at the hotel.
