this one is regarding periods....

should it be

... at half past eleven in the morning (no period)
OR
... at half past eleven in the morning. (period)

and for the reception card
Please join us for a formal reception immediately following the ceremony (no period)

OR

Please join us for a formal reception immediately following the ceremony. (period)

I think no period in both cases. Just a personal preference
