Another invitation question

Another invitation question

How should we word the time? The ceremony is at 1:30, should we lie and say it is at 1, so everyone is on time? Or should we leave it at 1:30? If we leave it at 1:30, should we say half past one, or one thirty? Is there a proper way?

Also honor or honour? This is what I think I want the invitation to say. TIA

I say half past one also. I'd put the real time

I used honor on our invites but I've seen it both ways

'Honour' and 'favour', to me, are more formal but both are fine. I used honour and favour.

I used half past two o'clock for my invites. I decided not to lie about the time. If people are late, they will be walking from the parking area to the ceremony (2/10ths of a mile) because transport stops at 2:15.

ETA: The direction cards to the ceremony will include the transport time info.

I used 'half after five' and I used 'honor' and 'favor'. I don't think it matters which you use, as long as you are consistent.

I would put the real time. I get annoyed when I get there on time and then have to wait around.
