when is the earliest you would mail out wedding invites if the RSVP date is 10/1?

I agree..last week of August.... i'm sending mine out next week for 10/9.

For an October 1, 2005 reply the earliest I would send out the invitation would be August 10-15, 2005.

Our wedding is August 28, 2005 and our reply is July 28, 2005 - we sent ours out June 14, 2005 since it was the summer and close to a holiday weekend.

I am sending mine out the 3rd week in September for an October 23 rsvp date- if that helps you at all??

My invites are going out 1st/2nd week of September with an Oct 24th rsvp date.
