What is your ivory dress doesn't match your FH's ivory vest. The tuxedo guy said only the man's jacket flower matches the dress. My FH's vest and tie is a lot more yellow than my dress. What do you think?

jacket flower? DH's flower was red...my dress was white. If it's that 'yellow' I'd go with a white vest and tie maybe if you are worried it will look too varied...No one will notice if they don't match up though. No one even noticed that my DH wasn't wearing a red vest/tie like the other groomsmen!

Who said you had to match the boutineer?? That's COMPLETELY FALSE! My DH wore a pink calla lily with white stephanotis. I wore an ivory gown so he wore an ivory shirt...he probably wore an ivory vest as well, or he wore champagne just like the other GMs. I don't even remember anymore! But it doesn't matter if he's more yellow than you are. The rule I followed was that nothing should be brighter than the bride; that means no white for him if you're wearing ivory but not the other way around.

Ah, interesting. So, the boutiner (? Whatever I have no idea how to spell the man's jacket flower), doesn't necessarily have to match.

the boutineer doesnt have to match your gown. My husband wore an ivory vest and had an ivory flower, but that matched my colors. If I was carrying red flowers, he would have worn a red flower as well.

I am stressing about the vest not matching my dress. There are so many shades of ivory that its pretty tough. I have also heard that if FH does an ivory vest that he should do an ivory shirt as well.
BTW Men's warehouse is getting new styles/colors at the end of this month,
