Another Make up Trial Question!

Another Make up Trial Question!

I am getting married in the summer (July) but I'm having my make up trials next week (I'm a teacher and I'm off)

Is this silly since I don't have a tan now and I will then? Or, will the make up artist make the appropriate changes during the summer when I'm darker?
Just want to make sure that they don't select all your colors now (skin products) and only bring that??

THNX!!

im pretty sure that they'll bring an assortment-a lot of 2010 girls have had trials already at different times of year than when they're getting married

I had the SAME EXACT problem but they bring a lot with them the day of especially if they are doing anyone else's makeup. I actually asked my artist to give me a lil color when she did the trial because I wanted to see how the colors of the eye shadows would look. You could also use a self tanner on your face neck area for the trial just so YOU can see how you like or want the eye makeup.
But don't worry they will have everything the day of. And def tell your artist that your darker in the summer.

i would keep in mind youare looking to see what they are capable of doing, and the talent... as long as you like them, and they do good work you should be fine

Don't worry, they will have everything you need for the day of. I would call and confirm a week before and let them know then that you have a tan

Re: Another Make up Trial Question!

I am a make-up artist (not wedding) and I suggest this:

Bring your own foundation the day of. Use it or if you want to use the MUA's; tell her to match the color you have.

Takes the guessing work out and it's what you are used too!

The colors of eye-make-up etc, any good artist can adjust accordingly.

BUT
Make sure you TELL the MUA at trial you will be tanner day of so there are no surprises. It's only fair.

If the make-up artist is good, they should be able to make the appropriate changes :)

But maybe it would be helpful to tell them exactly HOW tan you get since some people get rather brown and some get rather red!
