Another newbie says hi!

Hi girls!
I hate to admit this, but I've been lurking for about a week before finally deciding to post. This is such a great site! I am constantly blown away by the friendship and support you give each other and am happy to be a part of your little community.

So anyhoo, I'm getting married Sept 2004 and have not done anything in the way of planning except book the reception place...which I was feeling fine about until I started reading about how much my fellow Sept brides have accomplished, and it's WAAAAY more than that. Time to get my butt in gear!

Just wanted to say hi and to wish everyone good luck with their planning!

Welcome and congrats!! Don't use other brides as your planning barometer. Everyone plans at different paces, and if you compare yourself to what others have done so far, you'll just drive yourself nuts!

Awwww...thanks so much for the nice welcome - and the reassurances, jannshari and licia!

We are 9/4 at Fox Hollow. I'm about 85% sure of that...we are out of state and haven't seen Fox Hollow in person, but it looks nice and we hear good things.

Plus, they have been more than accomodating to my mother and aunt (who call them every other day with some little question), which means a lot to me.

2004 Labor Day brides: do you realize this means we've got less than a year?!

Yup - my countdown clock is at 365 days 9 hours...VERY EXCITING!!! I cannot wait! It's been so much fun so far.

ETA: I've never been to a wedding at the Fox Hollow but if you use the search function up top, you will find that there have been a bunch of weddings there with reviews. Maybe that would be helpful to you. Best of Luck!
