Hi girls!
I hate to admit this, but I've been lurking for about a week before finally deciding to post. This is such a great site! I am constantly blown away by the friendship and support you give each other and am happy to be a part of your little community.

So anyhoo, I'm getting married Sept 2004 and have not done anything in the way of planning except book the reception place...which I was feeling fine about until I started reading about how much my fellow Sept brides have accomplished, and it's WAAAAY more than that. Time to get my butt in gear!

Just wanted to say hi and to wish everyone good luck with their planning!

I'm getting married September 4th 2004 also! Are you nervous?
Today is the offical start of our 'one year' countdown. I'm getting married at 11:00am so I by this time next year I will be a Mrs.
As far as planning goes, I've only booked my reception hall and church this past weekend. Nothing else is done - so I guess we are in the same boat

Hey rasckulsbride,
We must be on the same wavelength - same day, same time, AND same number of things done (or not done)!
We also have the ceremony at 11:00 (reception starts at 1:30).

Soooo glad to hear I'm not alone...I'm just not a planner by nature and I don't want to get overloaded with it just yet. (Actually, I have a naive belief that everything will work out just fine!)

Congratulations! You only lurked a week? I think I probably lurked a month or two before I decided to post . Anyways, I am also getting married in Sept. '04 so we still have a year left. The girls here aregret so if you need any advice you've come to the right place
