It stands for Orange County. It is set in a rich neighborhood in CA, similiar to 90210. It is on Wed night channel 5 at 9-10. It has Peter Gallagher the actor with the big eyebrows, and alot of new actors. It premiered in the summer. and so far is doing very well. The episode that was on last night is on tonite at 9 on channel 5.

hi sunny.. Its not to late to pick up.. go to fox.com and check out the oc it has all the episodes so you can read what happened so you wont be lost ./. its basically about this troubled kid a rich family takes in and how hes from the wrong side of tracks and how he deals with life in the VERY rich Orange county NEWPORT BEACH.. its one of the BEST new night time soaps to hit tv since melrose and 90210
if you want to give it a shot check it out tonight at 9pm on channel 5 otherwise its on at 9pm on wed nights.
