My younger sister is officially out of my bridal party. We've been fighting a lot lately and I was at my parents' for dinner today and I said something like I'm not talking to you anymore and she said then whose going to be your MOH? I have (or had) two - her and my older sister so I said Regina. I'm not playing games with her threatening to be in or out so that's it. It really hurt my feelings but it's over.

oh no! what is it about weddings that bring out the worst in everyone?!?!? you def do learn so much more about people in the process

Sorry to hear that. Is she a lot younger than you? Sometimes they are at a differetn place they don't understand. Also it is a very stressful time for you and you don't need any drama. I am sure things will smooth over. Did you order the dresses yet?

She's two years younger than me. Thankfully we didn't order the dresses yet but I just got their bm jewelry. I doubt I can return it because it was custom made but I guess I'll just keep it for myself.
I'm also sure things will 'smooth over' as everyone is saying but it was so hurtful that even if we're on speaking terms I dont think I want her in my bp.

I outted my MOH too. We werent sisters, but friends for 10years. She is no longer a part of my life at all. It will all work out and besides with family there are always fights. I want to throw my brother out of the BP too, but wont for my dad. I am so sorry you are dealing with this. I hope everything works out.

To my fellow haloween bride -
My sister and I never got along. So I've known for a long time that getting engaged was going to be a bitter sweet time for me because thought she is my only sister i probably would not want to choose her has my MOH. So the time came and it took me two months to really make a decision. I chose my brother. I had a heart to heart with her and as far as i know there are no bad feelings. To be a bridal party is intimate and should reflect who has truly been there for you. Once I came to that conclusion the decision was easier. Your sister must have seen this coming if she threatened it herself. SO I hope things will smoth over like you said...but keep doing what's best for you and your wedding.
