Another one bites the dust (BP related) **EDIT- w/ a ?

Our GM who hasent yet gone for his tux measurements is not coming to the wedding.

He is OOS and supposidly got some job promotion. We suspect he wasn't planning on coming for awhile since he never went for his measurements

I tell ya- one way to find out who your true friends are is to plan a wedding. First FHs college friend RSVPd yes to our e-party and never showed- we booted him. Then my friend 'had a lot going on' and when I called to see if she was ok, she never returned the call. Now this dude..lol

Well, now my brother will be bumped to a GM.

I don't give a crap at this point. come if you want..don't come if u dont.. i dont care.

As long as FH and I are there w/ someone to marry us and 2 witnesses and our families- I'm fine.

ETS- THANK GOD I didnt get to my programs yet!!!!

my brother is 12 going on 13, but he is tall..my height. (i mean hes not a scrawny little 12 yr old- lol)

Will it look weird if he walks w/ one of the girls during the recessional?

He is walking my mom in the processional and I'm having the BP walk separately b/c there are only 6 total.

It's so true that you do find out who really cares .. I'm glad that you were able to find a replacement though I'm sure your brother is honored to help out

You really see people 's true colors during this process , sometimes for the better , other times, well not so much...

Sorry that the GM bailed at the last minute , but it all worked out in the end.... now your brother can share even more in your day .

Wow, people are sooo rude! I had similar problems with my bms. Luckily the guys all want to be in it!!! I say if your brother is tall there should be no problem with him walking a bm. I feel the same way you do. At this point, who gives a crap who shows up. True friends will make the effort and as long as you two get married, who cares who comes? It is not worth our time to worry about that.

My lil sis (also 12 going on 13, and getting taller every day) is a BM, she's walking w/ my bro who is 14 years older and he's 6'2', a full foot taller than her.
