How much is your honeymoon costing you and where are you going? For how long? We are planning ours and it looks like a $5000 trip. This os for a flight to L.A., a 4 day cruise, and a drive up the coast - total trip is 13 days. That sounds like a lot to me- I feel like we should do something less expensive.

We spent about $5k for a two week honeymoon in Costa Rica.
But for what you have planned, I think you could do it for a lot less.

Unfortunatly, that is the cost. It includes (hopefully) spending money, hotels, airfaire, car, cruise, disneyland, etc....

wow, I'm surprised.
I guess if you add it up, it makes sense... Airfare (coach) - $500-700 car - $500? disney - how many days? - $200? hotels - $200/night for 9 nights - $1800 cruise - $1000-1500 ?
how are my estimates?

$5500 for 2 weeks in Jamaica, 1 week in Ocho Rios & 1 week in Negril, all inclusive hotel, all transfers included, R/T first class airfare

Sunny, Maysie's only going for two weeks. She just explained where in Jamaica those two weeks would be -Ocho Rios and Negril are Jamaican destinations.

We are paying right around $5k for 10 days in St Lucia Sandals.
LisaT- you are going to Costa Rica-- I am soooooo jealous. I spent 6 weeks there a couple of years ago and loved it. I was hoping to go back there for our honeymoon but FH wanted to go somewhere neither of us had been. Have you ever been there before? If not let me know and I will let you know some places that you don't want to miss!

We paid about $4000 for 8 days, 7 nights in Sandals, St. Lucia...Golf & Spa.

about $6k for a 10 night cruise (outside cabin w/balcony) through Tahiti and 2 nights before the cruise in the Sheraton in Tahiti.

$5700 for 5 nights in san fran and 7 in maui. airfare, rental cars, hotel, trip insurance, breakfast each day in hawaii.
