are the leather coffee table albums really worth almost $1,000?
the package FH and I chose was just the proofs and the CD of all the proofs (which will be digital). we figured we can make our own album for a fraction of the cost later on. We went with a high quality photographer because it's the actual work he will be doing that counts. Versus spending the same amount on another photographer and getting albums, farmed pics, etc.
Does anyone know how much digital albums cost?

I think it is worth it. We're getting a magazine style album, and we wouldn't be able to make that ourselves, where the picture is actually printed onto the page (without a TON of work). You can just tell when an album is professional, and I think that it will be the best keepsake of the wedding (besides your DH!) If you can swing the money, I would do it. You'll love looking through that album again and again. The one thing that we are really splurging on is the photography package.

yea... I am starting to re-think that package now. We have to make another payment to the photographer in June. So I'll bring it up.
A few former brides have posted their digital albums on here. and they are AWESOME! I need to ask him how much he charges for that.

Good luck! I just remember as a little girl looking through my parents album, and flipping through each page. I just loved looking at all the details. Of course, I love clicking through my digital pictures nowadays. Is that how a digital album works, on cd? That would be pretty cool.

that's what I initially thought a digital album was too. it's kind of hard to explain. I just did a search on LIW and found this link
Oh, that looks nice. That is similar to what ours should look like, only in print. I love those styles.

They are beautiful, but i didnt want to spend that much money, we bought some leather ones on ebay, they are beatiful, so we are going to make our own album after the wedding.
