some people asked for NYC...and there is always LI.

so the question is...WHERE do we want to plan this shindig.

Manhattan may be expensive, and hard for those that want to drive. we could also do downtown Brooklyn...or Astoria in Queens.

if you guys want to do LI, I can try to talk to a few halls/restaurants and see what they can do for us Brides who shelled out big bucks to these places this year

finally, as a ball park...HOW MUCH?? is too much.

hmmm, maybe I should make another poll about costs.

Another vote for LI!!!

I think keeping it under $30pp sounds reasonable.

I am fine with anywhere, but I think LI would be the most convienent for the majority of people.

Just name the date and time and I will be there.

If you are looking for Nassau/Queens border, The New Hyde Park Inn may be a possibility. It is less than a East of the border. I have never been there but maybe someone else has.

ETA the more frequent GTGs have shown that there are a lot of Suffolk brides, perhaps moreso than those of us in Western Nassau and the city. I think it would be fair to do something in Nassau to accommodate them. NHP is a stone's throw into Nassau so I could go anywhere and be close.

I plan to come riding in my my Dyson. Actually, I am because I don't have a Dyson. If I did, I'd give you all a ride. If 05ers are welcome, just say the word! I'm sure it will be a great GTG either way.

Guys, maybe CLM would work with us too, even if it was the downstairs 'chapel' room and maybe a weeknight....or afternoon weekend. I definitely don't think we should go above 50 a head
