Another q for my plus sized ladies

Another q for my plus sized ladies

I'm about to start making appointments to try on dresses. What stores should I go to? I don't want to get there, and have them tell me they have no sample sizes for me (I'm a 22 street size). Do I tell them my size on the phone so they know what to be prepared for? Should I check that they carry plus sized samples?

Also, I REALLY REALLY want to try on the Maggie Sottero Sabelle. Anyone know of a store that would have a sample that I could squeeze in to?

Also, about how many sizes smaller are they able to squeeze you into to try on samples?

Sorry for all the q's! I'm a tad anxious about this!

I don't have suggestions for you as I haven't done this yet, but from a fellow plus size bride, I'd love to hear about your experience once you go to try on! Good luck!

Paradise bridal was SOOOOOO accommodating. Patty was amazing. They did have plus size dresses to try on but I didn't like any of them and I was there for the Maggie trunk show. Patty was completely sympathetic to my needs (I am a street size 18). She put me in a crinolin skirt and would form the upper part of the dress that were normal sample size to to my upper body and then laid the skirt over the crinolin. As crazy as it sounds it really worked and let me see a lot more options than if I had just tried on the plus size dresses. I was so happy with the customer service I ended up buying my dress there.

I went to RK bridal. They had a larger selection of plus size dresses. I wasn't crazy about the customer service or their whole system of getting people into rooms..Hope that helps.
