Another QOTD

FH and I met in high school - on the track, although neither one of us is very good.

We were 17 - we've made it through 1.5 yrs together in the same town, another 2.5 yrs long distance, and ANOTHER 1.5 years together again!

5 yrs this May - no breakups.

I was 21 when I started dating FH.

We met through a friend at a party.

FH & I met when we were 19...But we didn't start dating til I was 21 & he was 22...

We met while attending SUNY Old Westbury..we had business classes together but only remained friends bc we were both in relationships...We got together the summer after graduation...July 2 of this year, we will be celebrating 4 years!!

I could not be happier

we met working in a Haagen Dazs!!! in our neighborhood in 1993 (I was just 18) and started dating in December of 1994. We are on 10+ years. we have broken up a few times over the years, but for some reason, we never stayed apart for long!

In two months, I'll be celebrating my DIRTY 30!!

We have known each other since about 5th grade we did not start dating until june of our senior year in high school. We will be together 8 years this year. I love him more and more every day.

I was 26 when we starting dating (4/3/02). However, we origianlly met back in 1998.

We originally meet at Otto's on the Nautical Mile in freeport back in 1998. in 2002 we met again at NJ Grunts bar in South Levittown Lanes.

I was 14 when we started dating, he was 16. I moved into the house across the street from him.
10 1/2 years later....

I was 25 when I met him, 26 when we started dating - and that was 4 years ago as of June. We worked together - actually I was his boss

I was 25 years old. We met at our current job- an outpatient mental health clinic. FI was in his second year of grad school and was an intern here and I was in my first year of grad school and was an intern. We knew each other for over a year before we began dating.

I was 33 when I started dating FH, but didn't meet him then. Here it goes:

I went on Jdate.com to find a Jewish man to date. I came across a picture of a handsome guy with a great smile. I clicked on his profile to see that the enjoyed Syracuse Basketball. I'm thinking 'Hey I went there!' We were the same age so I thought maybe we knew each other. I IM'd him through that service because he was online and we struck up an online conversation about Syracuse and the dorms and the bars and stuff. Apparently, we had lived in the same dorm our freshman year. Then I jokingly wrote 'Wouldn't it be funny if we hooked up?' .

He then asks me to get out my freshman face book that shows all of the pictures of incoming freshmen as well as lists their majors. He tells me to look at a certain page number to see if I could match the face on the screen to the face in the book. I didn't know his real name yet, just his screenname. So I am looking at the book and all of a sudden I said 'OH MY G-D! I KNOW YOU!!' It turns out we met at a fraternity party our freshman year of college in 1988. He was my first college hook-up (NO WE DIDN'T DO IT) and the second guy I ever kissed in my life.

We met to satisfy a curiosity. We wanted to see how we turned out after all of these years. I got much thinner and cut my hair and dyed it red. He grew two inches, got LASIK and cut his hair too. There was NO way I'd recognize him from his on-line picture. Ever since that day we have been together. We are now together a year as we plan a life together.

Can you believe I made him wait 15 and a half years to have me?

that's awesome!!!

Well I was 23yr and he was 28yr. We met by a friend on the LFD(Levittown fire Dep.) It was Oct.7th 2002 and it was my sister birthday. and we had a house fire, the 2nd floor my room my brotheres room and the fire started in my sisters room. My mom called me at work to tell me, I left work and when I got to my house it looked like it rained at my house but there was a big burnt hole. anyway my friends from the LFD called and said come to the alley we will buy you some beer, I needed it, so my friend introduced me to FH. and we been together ever since. It's weird how it happens.

We met when I was 13 - he is my best friend's older brother

We didn't start to date until I was 21 Summer before my senior year at college.
