Well me and FH both work. I wish i could stay home though and let him work. But i guess that wouldnt be fair.

he came up with a great argument for why I have to work- b/c I get paid salary
and he owns his own business- so since he just started it back in June- we tend to have a cash flow problem every once in a while- ok 2 times- but my salary has saved the day!
in a year or 2- this wont be an issue-
once I have a baby I will stay home for a few years- but it would be really be too costly for me to stay home now- with my shopping addiction and my love of german cars!

I do work and DH own his own business. I am planning to take a leave of absence for a year to concentrate on fixing our new home.

I work everyday. FH on the other hand only works twice a week. He's FDNY and he works 24 hour shifts. So while i'm here, he's home the majority of the week.

We both work two jobs-we work on the average between 5-7 days/wk. Sometimes it's 5, sometimes 6 and sometimes it's 7 days straight!
We are never home-our cats love having the house to themselves. You would think they pay the mortgage and taxes.

We both work, and for the same company too! But I work in the office on the day shift and he runs the warehouse at night, so we never really see each other.
Hopefully once we have kids I'll be able to stay home, but it'll depend on the finances. When he was married before and they had a daughter he actually was the one who stayed home with her.

We both work! There is no way I can stay home now we are paying for a wedding and trying to by a house before the wedding. I am helping out with the bills and I have a bad spending habbit!!!

NEITHER! We both work and absolutely LOVE OUR CAREERS.
I don't even want to stay home when we have kids! That's where I hire Mom to babysit!

WE both work, But i really wouldn't say he works he stays home all day and works on the computer all day. soo lucky he and his father have there own business together. . But once i have a child then i'll stay home with them and go back to work when they are in school.

Neither. We both work FT and I go to school as well. When we have kids, I'll probably take a few months off but FSIL owns a preschool/daycare so we don't have to worry about $$ for that. They'll be with their aunt all day!

I hear you. We both work. I will always work. I have too much time, effort, education and money invested in my career to be a stay at home mom in the future. We also need the money to support our home and prepare for college educations should our children need them. Id rather not have to struggle. I also have to have something thats my own or I'd go nuts.

We both work and are very content with our jobs. However, when the bambinos arrive, I def want to stay home for at least 6 months and then go back to work.

It is great that most of you ladies work. It keeps the brain flowing. Plus we do all have to support our shopping addictions.
Staying home is not an option now.
