Another Queens GTG Question

Hey, I was thinking of coming to the Queens GTG. I've never met anyone on here face to face. I just have some reservations. One is it seems like everyone already knows each other. Did you mean the GTG to really be for anyone or just for one specific group? Also, are people bringing their other halfs? I'm also concerned I'll feel out of place being one of the youngest people on here. Anyway, I'd like to come, I'm just nervous...any thoughts?

1) From prior threads, everyone is welcome (not just from Queens) and significant others are also welcome

2) No worries about the face to face thing -- if you can tolerate the fact that I have three eyes and an uncontrollable case of hives, you'll be fine

I think I can handle it! I'll be the one trapped ina 5 year old's body and my FH will be the one with green skin and horns...don't worry about it though..we don't bite..much.

I only know Jan05Bride...I've met her in person...But initially, I 'met' her on the boards. It happened to turn out that we knew some of the same people from our neighborhood...(And our FH's won a Halloween costume contest in HS, but that's another story...)Plus she works across the street from me...

do you mean, a five year old trapped in an adults body? or are you smaller than the average person?

I'm just being silly. I'm a lot younger than the people on the boards and I look even younger than I am, and I'm short and have this tiny voice. people call me and they say 'is your mommy at home?'

i know how u feel..now im single and only 22 and im meeting all these married/engaged pple..i m nervous about meeting face to face, like a scary blind date :)

I'm 22 also. Yay! We can hang out I'm pretty nervous. I'm that way in big groups. I'm actually even nervous about going out to dinner tonight with my FH and my 2 best friends because it's going to be a big group...I'm a dork

And when I read 'I'm standing next to the rock' I pictured a giant boulder..and I was like 'ummmm..weird' I didn't realize you meant 'the rock' LOL

BTW, marymoon how old are ya? I am 25 but I look 15, I get carded all the time. It used to be flattering but now it is just offensive.
