I would think a nice skirt or dress but not too dressy. Isn't it going to be a little cold now or is it later when it gets warmer??

If it's going to be outside tonight (brrrrrrrrr) then I would wear a pants suit so you stay a little warmer. If its going to be inside I'd wear a casual dress. You can never go wrong with a simple black dress!!!

maybe a black suit with a sparkly blouse / top under it

Yeah, I'm thinking of a nice blacksuit with pointy teod shoes.. and a nice spaghetti strap top underneath..
