Another random layoff

Just went to ask a question to a guy in our publicity dept and it appeared as if he was packing. So I asked him where he was going and he said 'home' and it wasn't his choice. He was given one hour to pack and get out. At least the two layoffs in my imprint were given two weeks to get out.

I am starting to not like publishing right now.

Ouch...

I've lived through layoffs too. Two rounds of them in one year, actually. It's a miracle I survived. They are NO FUN and super stressful for everyone. I'm sorry for you all...
