we actually had an appointment with a hall planned before we were engaged and as it turned out we got engaged a day before the meeting.
big day for DH.
it was like 'here's the ring.' 'okay now tomorrow we're going to the hall'

YES.... so far I have a lot booked... no bling on my finger yet, but thats okay! Its not about the 'ring' And i have a feeling my ring is being made as we speak LOLOLOL
we have been together for just about 4 years, we know we wanna get married next year and decided to start booking so that we get the vendors we wanted... I wanted a winter wedding, in december and didnt wanna wait until 2012...
So - yes, I have started my planning and not officially engaged yet!
Not many people know anything about it yet.... Ill wait to share the news!

No planning here. That's not to say I didn't have ideas in my head of what I would for the wedding when the time came, but I didn't look up vendors or places or anything like that.

no planning, but i browsed the knot from time to time. just looking though. i actually didn't start 'planning' until a month after we were engaged. i wanted to take some time in the beginning to just enjoy being engaged before the craziness started

I had a ton of things planned, prices etc before getting engaged..
the only thing I wasn't 'allowed' to do was look at RH's until I was engaged... FH said it was wrong! lol

omg no planning, I didn't even think I was getting the ring ANYTIME soon.. it was a total surprise. I knew that FH was going to be my only for the rest of my life, and I knew he thought that about me too, but I thought I was like another year or so away from a ring,

yup! i did..me & FH have been together 10 yrs, we looked at rings together, i knew we were getting engaged sooon so yea lol i looked at the knot and what not. i didnt BOOK things lol but i def looked

Yep....I booked my hall before I had my ring.....then we announced it to everyone and I booked everything else and then I 'officially' got my ring. It was totally worth the wait, I have an amazing ring that is gorgeous.

hahahaa we booked the hall mid-september, and booked a wholllle lotta vendors, and no ring yet!
I know its coming SOON... he knows i wanna send the STDS at christmas LOL
In any case, my BDAY, our anniversary and XMAS is all in a month so it better happen soon! When it does, Im sure it will be well worth the wait!!!!

I had everything already written out from 2 years ago when my last wedding was called off a month before it was suppose to happen. so I already knew what I wanted but I didnt think fh and I would be engaged so soon he never wanted to get married and my wedding was just called off less then 2 years prior thats how we became friends. But I guess it was ment to be because I met if the day I would have been marrying the other guy started dating 8 months later and then got engaged 14 months after and 7/9 is 3 years to the day the last one was called off so it was will forever be a good day
