Another registry question.... about flatware

Another registry question.... about flatware

When you registered for your flatware did you do it by placesetting or by set. Mine can be purchased by the place setting for $49.99 each or by service for 4 for $159.99. It's a pretty decent savings to order the service for 4 but do you think people would rather have the ability to buy individual place settings....

Why do I think of these things...

We did both. If we get extra sets we can always return them.

i think we registered for individual sets. i know i came across this problem with pots - we could have ordered an 8 or 10 piece or each individually. we did individually there too.

I registered for the sets of 4 that were $150/ea. whatever. i can't drive myself nuts wondering what will work for the people buying it. i drive myself nuts as it is lol. if no one wants to get it, then they can choose something else!

we did 2 sets of 4 settings- but when we got them it was packaged each setting seperately. i say do the whole set. youd be surprised how much people will spend on you. you want to have more medium- higher priced items. most of my little stuff under $20 or $30 was never bought...

my friend registered for the individual sets and i absolutely refused to buy them ... i just felt like $50 for one set of silverware was ridiculous. If she had the 4-setting one for $150, i would have been much more likely to buy it.

i registered for the whole set. It comes with settings for 12 and was on sale for $159.

It's 18/10 stainless steel.

i think if you register for the set, ppl are more likely to buy it. whereas for $50 they might want to buy you an appliance or something else
