Another response card question

The company I am ordering my invites/response cards from told me it is improper to write r.s.v.p. out in french on my response cards. I like it but I dont want to offend the ettiquite police :-) She says it would be better to write 'the favour of your reply is requested blah blah blah... Any thoughts?

It's your wedding, and I think you should do it in the way that makes you happy. Etiquette is just a means of keeping your guests comfortable and happy. I doubt anyone would be uncomfortable or unhappy if you write out RSVP in French. Just my opinion, of course. : )
