another sample centerpiece question

I just called Burton's to ask if they will do a sample centerpiece and the lady I spoke to said to give them a call a week before my wedding because that's when they order flowers for it. But what if I see the sample and I decide I don't like it or I want different flowers. This just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyone using Burton's have an answer for me???

I'm not using Burtons, but my florist is showing me a sample 3 months before in case I totally change my mind about what I want. I'm sure if you're there and disapprove of it, they'll do everything they can to get it to your liking

I am not using Burtons but we saw a sample before booking (most places don't offer this).

We go in 2 weeks before our wedding to place a final order (number of tables) and pay the balance. She then orders the flowers on Monday (10 days before).

I would push them to give you a sample earlier. The week before your wedding there is so much to do and this is something that can and should be done before hand. What happens if you change your mind and all the flowers are already ordered?

I am planning on going in tomorrow to give a payment so hopefully while speaking to them in person the issue of seeing a sample centerpiece earlier then a week before my wedding will be resolved :)

I wouldn't wait until a week before. You're going to have so much other stress on your plate that you shouldn't have to add another thing. Talk to them, I'm sure they'll be able to make adjustments.
