Another short vent from me...

All bm dress deposits have been made- but they are missing one size so cannot order them.

HELLO- my wedding is less than four months away. Why can't she give them her size??? WHAT IS THE ISSUE?????

Don't know what to say.

I have a BM like that too. I have to hold her hand and drag her around if I want anything to get done.

Well, that is the problem. My fault

I waited so long to get the whole thing going, I did not leave any time for issues like these.

I think she called and left the deposit, and told them what size she wanted. I am guessing they told her they want her measurements, and she did not have them. She wants to order a dress smaller than she is.

I emailed her the size chart and told her to call and give them the fake measurements for the size she wants.
I have not heard from her since.

Not your fault. Keep bugging her until she does it. If she doesn't like it, then too bad. You're running out of time and really don't need her giving you more stress. Now she's not only delaying her dress, but everyone elses. That's not right and you should tell her that.

you still have plenty of time...they usually say 12 weeks before is OK...

why don't you make a lunch date with your BM...take her to get measured and then treat her to lunch?

Tell her that this is stressing you out and that you really need to get this off of your head. Set a deadline. Tell her I need (or the place needs) your measurement by such and such date!

Call in the measurements for her and get her a dress that fits. What are people thinking buying dresses that do not fit. It's easier to take a dress in than let it out. I would tell her nicely that if she doesnt call in the measurements in 2 days, you will do it for her.

sunny - i'm having the exact same problem as you. finally got my last BM measured YESTERDAY and my wedding is 3 weeks after yours. i begged my FSIL to get measured - even have one of her friends to do - NADA!! and to top it all off - she finally goes and doesn't realize she needs to leave a deposit, so she calls FI to borrow his credit card!!!!!!
