Another silly tipping question

We have a catering manager X who is the person doing our contract, figuring out the menu, cake, linens, etc.

Then we have the Matre D Y, who'll be coordinating the day of.

Also, my hairdresser is coming, and her fees are $300 flat fee for up to 5 girls plus $60 travel fee. While she works with a salon, I don't believe the salon is taking her $$$ from that, b/c everything was arranged with me dealing directly with her.

Who do I tip and how much? Am I supposed to tip both the catering manager and the Matre D? Our gratuity is already included in the final bill. Also, should I be tipping the hair person? And would I tip on the $300 fee or the $360? I don't understand why I need to tip the travel fee?

OMG you just made my head spin! That isn't even including tipping the dj, florist, photographer and videographer!

We planned on tipping both the banquet manager as well as the matre d but we ended up having the banquet manager as the matre d (matre d had family emergency). We gave her about $200-300 I think. I guess it depends on how happy your are with how everything runs that day.
As for the hair dresser, I would only tip on the $300, but, again, I'd say it depends on how happy you are with her services.

we did not tip our catering manager. They weren't there the day of the wedding, and we delat with a few people at Lands End and weren't about to tip them all. We had a service charge in our contract, but tips to the MD were on top on that and not included.

As for the hairdresser, that $300 is going in her pocket - so in essence she's the owner and you don't necessarily need to tip. But I would anyway - maybe $10-15 from each girl. (are you paying for their hair? if so, let the BMs take care of the tips. Even if you're not paying, you shouldn't need to tip for everyone).

Thanks for the suggestion. The hair person would only come to me for $300 worth of business, and may do 4 of the 5 BM's. So I offered it to them, since I would have to pay anyway.

I don't think I can ask them to tip, but I was thinking of rounding the $360 to $400 if I were to tip, or not tip at all... That's what I am confused about.

I was in a wedding where the MOB paid for all our hair and makeup. We were happy to be able to contribute by providing the tip (we each gave $20).
