So I have been thinking about how your sister acted in regards to the whole dress situation and it reminds me totally of how I acted when Mira was getting married. If she’s anything like me, she probably wants to stand out more than others at your wedding. If you remember I got super pissed when my mom got super fancy saris for all my cousins and not me from India. I guess my whole thought process was that obviously Mira was the bride so everyone would be looking at her, but if there was someone else they should have been looking at it should have been me, the bride’s sister! (I know, retarded but whatever.) Even when we were getting henna done, I didn’t let the lady do any of my cousins’ henna as elaborate as mine. I guess what I didn’t realize and what your sister won’t realize until after the wedding is that no one cares about anyone but the bride (and maybe the groom lol).'

Interesting... I guess I can be glad i don't have a younger sister - i only have a younger brother...and he's married to the uber busy one...
But - as busy as she is/was/will be - she still managed to leave for their vacation on time!!!!
Sorry - still irked about that...the measuring thing makes me crazy - because let's face it - she probably didn't measure herself properly & the dress won't fit. She couldn't take FIVE friggin' minutes to go somewhere in the city and get measured???

Yes- and i do understand, I do...the busy thing...she's insane busy.. But she's in the heart of the city - it took the rest of the girls literally 2 minutes to get measured. She's 3 blocks from macy's and 1 block from numerous stores she could've been measured at... That's what's upsetting the most - that she didn't feel it was important enough to take the few minutes it required. I sincerely have asked NOTHING else of anyone... Do your hair as you want, wear whatever shoes you want, i haven't made them go looking for dresses like crazy - well all went to one store ONCE...
For your sake, I hope that she measured herself right or too big - that way there are no problems with the dress. The only thing that could be really bad is if she measured herself way too small.
