No - totally not my shower.. I've been having pretty crappy luck this past week and 2 of the other BP girls have made my life rotten - so she asked me to take a day off work so she could pamper me. But then she tells me that i need to bring sneakers, sandals and my DSLR camera because i'm totally going to want photos...
I know it's not the shower because she originally wanted me to do it on saturday - but we're leaving for our vacation then...so we moved it... I'm rambling..![]()

We are still debating this....but at the moment it's Into the Mytsic by Van Morrison. We're going to try & recreate the dance scene in American Wedding...not major - but cute & only we will know it's that...

Oh no why are they being rottne?
One is soooooooooooooooooooooo busy she couldn't get to the store to check out the dresses (i picked a designer and color - they all picked their own dresses, whatever they wanted). She was going to get measured but decided she was just way to busy - so she measured herself.
The other is just always too busy and broke...so we had to pay for her dress & we're supposed to be getting reimbursed...
These are the 2 i had no choice on - my sister in law(brothers' wife) and his sister... Oh well :(
I literally JUST asked my BP by sending them cards this week.
thank god all my girls are great i have 1 i really dont talk to but she is very busy and in queens but i know when i ned her shell have my back lol
I can kinda tell who I'm going to have a problem with though - two of them still haven't responded even though I KNOW they got their cards. Coincidentally, these are the two who I asked out of obligation. The girls who I am closest to called right away - one was literally still at the mailbox when she called!

And, honestly, the one who is the biggest pain is my sister/MOH. She was a little too vocal about the dresses. I gave them a color and took her and my two BFFs shopping and told them to pick what they like. Give an inch, take a mile - my sister started picking stuff that she knew didn't come in my color and then basically tried to TELL ME to change my color. Then she started screaming at me when I said no because I wanted blue, because she said I 'wasn't firm enough' when I first said I wanted blue!

EXACTLY!!! That was the reaction of one of my girls...she got the thing - we asked her via cookie - she was hysterical laughing...if we didn't have caller ID and knew it was her - we would've hung up - all we could hear was this hysterical laughing...it was VERY great...
Sister in law - of course ill do it...
Future sister in law - awwwwwww sure & i got a hug. I never wanted to ask her :(((((((((((((

i have a BM that doesnt really get into it ( she is the only single one in the BP) but she likes to help as long as its not all day! the other one is my FSIL she is planning her E-party right now so i havent asked her to do anything hopefully she will help with stuff after her wedding isnt till 2009......i just hope she realizes we are doing these things for ME!!!!!!!!

OH MY GOD - that is sooo true - give an inch. I was complaining to one of my friends this week and that's all she said - no more inches jess - give no more inches.
I spoke to his sis about it - i told her that i want to get together in october and give them their gifts and i will not take no for an answer - i don't care if you have to get a sitter and rachel (the lawyer) has to pay someone else to do her job for 2 hours...i will not take no...
This is what i have to do to get them together... And I can tell who's helping my MOH with everything because she RAVES about the other friend and never mentions the 2 obligation girls... She keeps telling me I LOVE KATE.... I'm like - hmmm...could that be because you never hear from anyone else??

well before she was engaged she was wondering away from me at expos looking for herself. we spent 1 hour with a photog at an expo that i didnt even like i ended up leaving her there
