Another spinoff from the naming thread

Would you be upset if someone on the board (i.e. here) named their baby the same name as your current baby... However, you are not friends with that person outside of the boards.

I know I wouldn't. I am not TTC but I have already had names from a long time that I noticed others on the boards have. Also one person that I am very close to from the boards wants to name her boy the same name that I want to name my boy.

Since the people here arent exactly family or friends I 'talk' to I wouldnt really care if someone named their children the same as me.

I think if any of us are upset that is totally unfair. We cannot expect the entire World to keep their 'hands' off of our names. I mean, many of us have used popular or classic names how could we expect everyone on LIW to avoid thinking of using them?

I would definetely not be mad about that. But I did think about it- if we were having a girl, we wanted to name her Lyla, just like Niha's little sweetheart. But since it's a boy, Niha is safe for now

No not at all, b/c I already see a name on here that I like and I told Roger and he likes it too, so that could really be our baby's name God willing

well I am dangerously close to Lyla, Adeline AND Madeline...so hugs to Niha, Michelle and Snook before I steal their names!!!!!

No, I wouldn't be mad about that. That would be unfair I think.

It wouldn't bother me. Many of the names are popular so of course other people are going to choose them as well.

We are considering maybe one day stealing 'Justin' for a name.
My stepfather has cute names for all of us and I thought he could call the baby 'Just-IN-Credible'!

His grandaughter is 'Kerry_Berry'
I am 'Fawn_Dawn'

I just thought it sounded perfect.

Justin is a top contender for boys names!

I love it. I just have to see if DH likes it to when the time comes!

Dawn - no problem at all!

My dad was working the night Justin was born. But he did show up at the hospital at 8:50pm (I didn't know this). I had J at 9:10 and when everyone came in, I was surprised to see him so he told he had just gotten there and I said WOW, Just In Time - so that has stuck!

Just In Credible is awesome! I may have to steal that one!!!
