Another Stormy update.... UPDATED AT BOTTOM....

Well - he's home with a HUGE suture on his back, and an elizabethan collar which he doesnt like and I have never seen him like this, so it breaks my heart. When he came home he was very discombobulated, but now he seems a little more like himself, which makes me feel better.

the plus side is that I have to give him medicine orally which he would never take if I tried to shove a dropper in his mouth, SO he is getting a special treat - wet food (with the drops mixed inside)

He perked up immediately when he saw me mixing his wet food, and gobbled it all up, and then licked his lips for a half hour after

That made his day - he only gets crappy dry food normally, so he is going to be bummed when we go from 2 cans a day back to his dry food...

My poor little guy

The results from the biopsy will be here in a few days...

I am concerned because the stitches will come out anywhere between 7-10 days - and we are leaving for Thailand a week from tomorrow - I dont know what we will do if they have to be taken out after we leave - its one thing to ask my friend to sprinkle food in his dish, and to shlep him to the vet - plus she's really allergic....

Well, I'm glad he's home with you Liza and faring well!!! Nothing beats recuperating with its owner!!!

He's a lot more with it today and now he's really playing it up - he's trying to steal the cream cheese off our bagel... and rolling around looking cute... we have to help him scratch his itches under the collar...

We've been calling him conehead - we took some pics - will post later!

I'm glad to hear he is feeling better. If I were you I would start adding the dry food to his wet food or you are never going to get him to eat dry again! It's like caviar!

best of luck to stormy. i had to go through this with my little gizmo about 2 months ago. waiting for the results was torture (it took about a week), but thank goodness it came back negative!

Now he can't clean himself! The stupid collar is in the way - so he keeps trying but licking the inside of his collar - how icky is he gonna get from that?

we are brushing him every day....
