Another table camera question-What is the difference b/w 400 and 800 speed?

I would like to get the best quality possible- what should I look for?

I notice the 800 speed is more $$ than the 400 -what does it all mean?

Thanks

without getting too technical (because photography is a lot of science and math believe it or not)
800 speed is better for action shots and low light pictures...
for table cameras, i would positively go with the 800 speed if your reception is at night and/or in a low lit room...

it has to do with how fast the picture is taken...you really only need 800 if there are action shots where you have to capture someone in motion, like a sporting event. you would be okay with 200 or 400.

the pics will probably be sharper with 800, but that really is overkill and probably not worth the extra money - 400 is really good quality for indoor/lowlight

400 is fine if you don’t want too spent the extra $ as long as it has flash. If it is indoors or at night I wouldn’t go less than that.
800 is a bit crisper a better but if it is a lot more $ don’t sweat it.
Put it this way haven’t you ever taken pics somewhere with one of those cameras? Most likely it was a 400 and I’m sure the pics came out great.

go with 400.
your pics will come out grainy with the 800.
especially if you have a flash your pics will be great with 400!
