Another temping/charting question... (TMI)

So far I haven't ovulated and I'm on CD18. I'm sooo upset. It's never taken this long to ovulate. I really hope that I do ovulate. I thought for sure I ovulated already, but according to my temps I haven't. It's like I've had the signs of ovulating for a week now, but nothing? Anyway, my question is, this morning I took my temp at 5:30am (usual time) and it was 97.3, then I took it again at 6:30am and it was 98.1. It's never gone up that much in just an hour? It's weird. I didn't do anything different either. I was still in bed, and went back to sleep. But, I really thought for sure that I ovulated yesterday. My left ovary was hurting for a while and then stopped. Now it's just sore. But with that low temp this morning, and the fluid is wet, I guess I didn't. I'm hoping to ovulate soon. I'm so afraid of having a short Luteal phase. I got my period on the 6th last month, so I'm running out of days soon. I'm upset now about my cycle, forget about if I was TTC. It's so weird because when I got PG with my son, I charted just the one month, and my chart was by the book. I had the pre-O temp dip, ovulated on day 14, temps jumped really high, implantation dip on 6dpo, and then had a triphastic (?) temp change. It was a perfect chart. Now, my temps are soooo different. I know every month differs but this much?

The first few month I charted my temps were pretty consistent. Low and behold, the month we started trying, they were all over the place …and I didn't ovulate until Day 20! My luteal phase was consistently 11 days and it was that month too. Your luteal phase likely won't change. If you ovulate late one month, the luteal phase will be the same number of days, so you'll get your period late. I think I ovulated late that month due to a bad cold I had. You may have something going on that is delaying your ovulation. Also - I was VERY worried about an 11 day luteal phase, but (knock on wood) I did get pregnant, so I would believe them when they say anything over 10 days is OK. I hope that helps.
