Another thing off the list, Shoes with Pic!!
So I started out to go to Georgette's to pick out my undergarments, but lo and behold, I arrive at the store to find a note, saying because of the 'bad snow, they may not open today, please call before returning' W T F????? Hello?? talk about annoying but I figured on the way back, let me stop at DSW on Old Country Road, they have a small selection of shoes, mostly sequiny types, I did find one pair I liked but even in a size smaller than my usual size I was worried I would slide right out of them.
Down the way, (actually the next mini shopping center) next door to Washington Mutual is a small store called Bridal Shoe Boutique, 351 Old Country Road. Small store, decent selection, decent prices, they only charged me $5 bucks more than I would have paid on Bridesave, but that's a wash since I would have paid for shipping.
They have many dyeables, plus a decent selection in silver plus some black and gold shoes for mother of the bride. If you really want something sparkley.. they only have a few to choose from. The newest styles in the dyeables are not in stock, they have to special order them for you, I say this as an FYI, in case you want to try on a newer style you may want to do that in another store. The gentleman working was very helpful and they dye them black for at no extra charge after the wedding, if you want another color there is a small charge.
So here is the pic, which doesn't do them justice, they are very simple, but that's what I wanted and very comfortable I could def be in these for 5 hours and not complain..lol
