another tip for the '06 girls from an '05 girl

sorry for intruding, but I wanted to share, especially if you are paying for your own wedding, or most of it. The hall sets you up on payment plans, which is great, when its over though, keep on making payments, whenever you can! FH and I had to make 8 pmts of 1500 the first 8 months(we are having a large wedding lol), and then nothing until the final appointment if we want. Well I always made sure to send a payment in, mostly 1000/month, but sometimes 500/month, whatever I could swing. We just got back from our final appointment and it was so stress free. our final pmt was so small and I am so happy i didnt push this aside only to be stressed by a huge final pmt! anyway girls, i hope this helps!
only a few more months and then its your turn!!

Yes I did! I got all of our vendors down to $250.00 like 6 months ago or so, and recently paid them all off. I know some people frown upon paying them off prior to the day of, but I really didnt want to have that much cash laying around. Even though we have a DOC I just didnt want to worry about it.

Good point... But the only thing I can think of is that if the money is sitting in my bank account, Im collecting intrest from it. It may not be much, but still.. its the point.

Thanks for the tip!!! Our hall actually advised us not to wait until the final payment date, he told us whenever we could that we should stop by and put a down payment. I guess it really does work. We're actually doing this with ALL our vendors. Instead of saving the money, we've made a monthly budget where we put additional deposits on certain vendors so we don't have HUGE payments to make or stress over right before the wedding.

we are on a payment plan also ever 3-4 months we give them 3000.00 -3500.00
it should cover more then enough
the payments was quoted for 120.00 looks like we will have about 107 and 15 kids (1/2 price) so I think we are looking good
