another year older ...

another year older ...

so today i turned 25 .. i am now a quarter centruy old ... and i know a lot of you are going to say i am ridiulous but i am kind of depressed about it .. i have such issues with turning older ... ever since i turned 21 its gotten worse ... i think its because of my fear of death ... but the only reason why i am not too depressed is because i must say that I am EXACTLY were I wanted to be at this age!!!!! i have met all my main goals so far!!!!!! ... also i think my car insurance goes down too .. WOHOO!!!!

also I got a great letter in the mail today ... as part of my Birthday FH is going to by me palyoff tickets for the Mets (thats if they make it so Met fans lets pray that they do) and i was afraid that i would have to buy them off ebay at a ridiuclous price .. but since i bought a 7 pack from them at the the beginnig of the year i qualify to buy 4 tickets to one of the play off games!!!!!

also Congrats to all the brides that are at thier one year mark today!!!!!!!!

I had a hard time with 25, too. it ended up being one of the best years of my life!!!

And you don't sound ridiculous to me at ALL! In fact, the entire week before my 25th birthday, I felt down, seemed like time was flying by and my youth was slipping away.
Then my epiphany happened. I used to work for a youth organization, and a member passed away. He was an amazing 14 year old boy & it was just the worst freak accident you could think of. My office, volunteers and friends in the organization all felt such terrible pain for him & his family.
As I left his wake on my birthday, it hit me, how stupid I was for feeling blue about getting older, & since then take every birthday as the blessing that it is. Too bad I always have to learn things in the most difficult ways.

So enjoy every single minute of 25, it's going to be great!
