antique inspired dresses?

antique inspired dresses?

I am looking for vintage dresses from the edwardian era through the 1930's, or dresses inspired by those time periods. I have looked through Etsy vintage, ebay, and Nataya. Any other online shops, designers, shops in NYC/LI I should check out? Thanks!

PS: I'm a budget bride!

I rented a period dress from this place and it was gorgeous. It isn't a typical costume shop, they mostly have period costumes. They have wedding gowns too, its worth checking out.

im not sure what your budget is but i've always found dresses from the designer Claire Pettibone to be very vintagey looking very 1920's. i know they sell her stuff at Kleinfelds not sure where else.

This is a link to actual antique and museum pieces that are for sale. It is hit or miss but there are some amazing dresses- if you are looking for a dress really from the time period. If you are looking for an 'inspired' dress, then I would DEF check out Claire Pettybone. Before I got my dress I thought I would get a CP for sure because her style is just amazing.

Many of the Casablanca gowns have an antique feel to them. Look through their. Collection. http://www.casablancabridal.com/collections/view/30/437
