I get really really anxious about things but I don't think I have 'panic attacks.' How do I know if I have 'normal' anxiety or if I'm 'too anxious' ?

Re: Anxiety: how much is 'normal' ?
I had a panic attack and it was really scary. I thought I was having a stroke. My whole body tensed up and my fingers were stuck together. I looked like I had lobster claws. It was completely exhausting afterwards, it really takes all of your energy from your body. I sought professional help and no medication. Once you learn how to breathe and to get focused, you never have to go thru it again. The program is called Bio Feedback. If you want to talk to someone and learn more about it, call Caroline Boutin @ 201.444.3231. It's a NJ number, but her office is in the city, Upper East Side. She works for Yaffe, Ruden & Associates.
