any 11/02 brides?

What's left to do? Where are you getting married? I've been so calm throughout all the planning but now I am getting so nervous!!!!!


I'm getting married at the Glen Island Harbour Club. I still have to do seating chart, last fitting, rehearsal dinner/party and finish wrapping gifts for bridal party.

Sorry I didn't respond sooner I don't get to visit the board often. I am getting married at the Chateau Briand. I love the Glen Island I have been there twice and it is great!!
I am totally stressing and to top it all off I have a cold. My rehersal dinner is Friday and my bachlorette is Saturday I hope I get better.
I have to finish packing for the honeymoon, wrap the girls gifts, pick up stockings, finish the table cards, bring the rest of my stuff over to my new apartment, and clean clean clean for the rehersal dinner it will be at my house. Wow I guess looking at our lists we are in pretty good shape.
I can't believe it is next week, can you?

Chateau Briand is beautiful. My cousin got married there a couple of years ago and everything was wonderful. I'm doing all similar things as you, so I guess we are on track.

The year has flown by. I can't believe it is next week already. When people ask me, when are you getting married, I still say November 2002. People think I'm nuts! hehehhehe.

I hope we have a beautiful day. Good luck with everything. Where are you going on your honeymoon? We are going to Hawaii. Which reminds me, I have to pack!!!

I am getting married 11/02 also. Our wedding is at the Sephardic Temple.
Almost everything is done ( had my last fitting, had hair and make-up trial , did seating chart, finished programs, etc)

We are now working on making favors for our Friday night dinner and making baskets for out out of town guest. I am really just trying to stay calm, but this weekend we have to pack for our honeymoon and buy gifts for our parents.

The only thing that I am really nervous about is the weather. I hope that it doesn't rain so we can take some outdoor pictures. But I have no control over that, so we'll see!!

I'm packing this weekend also. It is so difficult because out of town guests are starting to trickle in and we have to enterain them. Jenhos--I wasn't nervous up until a couple of days ago. Hopefully, it will go away soon. I'm not the nervous type but now I feel there is so much to do and not enough time. I hope we have nice weather as well. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Don't know how religious you are but if you can get your hands on a blessed mother statue and put it in the front window of the house facing the street it should help with the weather (so my mom thinks anyway)

I still have 23 days so the nerves may come.

I'll try anything...heheheheh. Weather.com has only posted weather up until Nov. 1 (which is partly cloudy.) I guess I have to wait until tomorrow to get an idea.

No matter what the weather is ( remember it is the one thing you can't control) the day will be perfect. Besides the weatherman could be wrong!

JenHos, you are so right!
Scoop, Accuweather has a 14 day forcast, but you are better off not knowing about it, because all it does is stress me out. I just really wanted to have the outdoor pics especially because we are only going to have 2 hrs to take pics once we get to the temple

I'm 11/2 also.
First I need to begin intense therapy to deal with the stress of the last minute stuff.
After that I need to win Lotto
But my 'real' to-do list is
-finish programs
-make Thank You stickers for my Krispy Kreme favor boxes
-confirm all vendors have directions
-finalize RD menu with resturant
-make seating cards for RD
-finish wrapping BP gifts

I'm a 12/02 bride ... just reading through & wishing you all calm thoughts & lots of energy! Lots of good tips ... things I never would have thought about. Meanwhile, I just came across this website & thank god ... just in time!

Laura S-- I just checked out accuweather and it said it will be cold and mostly cloudy. I hope we get some sun for photos outdoors. Thanks for the info.

just wanted to reassure you guys about weather...

it POURED for my sisters wedding...but it turned out to be fun (trying to get all the BMs and Bride into the limo!!)...and noone was upset...as long as your hair doesn't get wet...you are fine!!!

I know...I was just worried about photos. Weather Channel.com says it is going to be partly cloudy with a high of 58 degrees. At least no rain yet...keeping my fingers crossed.
