Any advice on handling missing RSVPs?

We are missing about 25 RSVPs and I have called and emailed everyone but STILL nothing in the mail.

Any advice? I sent one nice email the week BEFORE the deadline reminding people to get it in. Then I waited for a week after the deadline. Now it's week 2 and I'm really annoyed.

I sent ANOTHER email saying that we need to tell the reception hall our final headcount by THIS weekend and won't be able to make ANY changes after that. I figured that would get some reaction. Nope. I'm guessing that people check email at work and just sinply forgot when they get home to send it in. Who knows.

Any words of wisdom?

your final headcount needs to be in a month in advance to your hall? that kind of stinks. if that is the case i'd low ball the number---because usually you can ADD onto the number but not take away. our final head acount wasn't due until about a week beforehand and then 2 days before was the TOTAL final head count.

start calling up relatives and let them know you need to know if they are coming...that's the only way to handle it. emails are easy to ignore--phone calls aren't. good luck!

You have to call these people. Best advise - split the jobs btwn you, your FH , MOH and Mom maybe.
