Any advice/tips for printing my addresses on the envelopes?

what do you mean by lined envelopes. The envelopes with the lining aren't supposed to have the address on them. They are just to be stuffed and put into the outside envelope. I printed mine off the computer and they came out beautiful. I found a nice script font and they looked professionally done.

If the invitation desn't come with a inner envelope the outside envelope is lined, that's how mine are.

Why don't you just get some thicker paper, cut it out the same size as the envelope and run that through the printer to see how it goes. I hand wrote out all of my friend's invitations and I cut out a peace of paper to figure out placement and to see how it would look. Printing out is less painful (provided you have a good program to work with).
Good luck!

do a test run on an envelope. it might takes some patience, but it is definetly easier, neater and less time consuming than hand writing them.
i had some extra invites to send a few weeks ago, so i typed the adresses in MS Word and fed my lined envelopes throgh the printer. it took about 3 test runs, but they in the end, they looked great.

First, don't try to do it all in one day! Take you time with it!!
For me I found not printing too many at one time worked best (I used an old deskjet to print). I found when I did more than 5 at a time - the end ones would pull crooked. Also for some reason after about 5 the next ones would get a slight crease and sometimes an inkmark in the right corner - I never figured that one out but it wasn't too bad and I had ordered extra envelopes anyway and those that were only a little bad - I didn't care b/c it was where the stamp goes.
The lined envelopes are thicker so you may want to see if there is a setting on your printer for thicker paper.
Definitely do a test. I tried doing the lined ones on a high end laser jet and the lining melted - so had to go back to me deskjet.

Cut out a piece of paper the size of the envelope, I did them for my e-party and put them in one at a time.
The inner envelope should be just about the same size, so the wording just needs to be more centered, because its only a name.
If you use a regular piece of paper, you should be able to see through it when you put it up to the envelope. Or what I did what fold only the top or bottom down (so one side would still be lined up the envelope) and you can see where on the envelope it will sit
Also, don't know if you did this, but you need too know how you will be putting the envelope in so it doesn't get printed upside down. Make a fake flap, on the sample piece of paper, that , so you know how to put it in.
Hope I didn't confuse you

Everyone's advice is really good, but another trick I found was to tuck the flap in the envelope while printing.

Oh boy, I am so nervous to do this. I am in a time crunch (shocker) so the invites need to go out in Monday's mail (the latest). AND they need to be assembled before I stuff. Yikes.
There is no inner envelope so i am glad to here it is possible to do through the printer anyway.

GroomsMom - can you tell what the name of that program is that you bought for $30. Where did you get it?

Be careful you could jam your printer if you do too many at once or if the paperstock is too thick.
My suggestion.... Avery makes clear address lables; use them... you can do a simple mail merge in word or excel and print out a test run before using up the labels.
