Most of my vendors are people I know....but here is the list I would reccomend.

MUA -Whitney from. Cantstopmypretty.com

DJ - In the mix OR Above and beyond.

Video- capture the moment, LJR, Marco photography

All of the above mentioned have bilingual employees if that helps.

Edited: I'm Dominican FH is Italian/Ukrainian... No traditions yet... Except for the wedding cake, the inside of it will be a Dominican cake.

Hair - Michelle from Magdalena’s Salon

Video – 4.5.6 Weddings Photo - Patken Photography

DJ - Elegancia Entertainment we're getting our percussionist through them as well. They did our besties’ wedding and we had to have them! We are Latin and West Indian so it was mandatory to have a DJ that knows the artists already and didn't need us to make a list of songs to download.

I saw a video from 456 I thought was super cool. I'm Boricua/African-American but most of my friends are west indian lol so my wedding should be an interesting dynamic of cultures. Where is Magdalena's Salon? I should check them out I haven't booked hair yet and my hair is very long and thick.

In the mix did my sweet 16... 11 years ago, and I still remember what a great job they did! If that's not saying a lot about a company I don't know what is.

Magdalena's Salon is in Hempstead. They just moved so even though I know where it is, I don't know the official address. I can FM you that info. I am Cuban and Puerto Rican and have curly long hair and they know how to work with it. Michelle is great, she is the salon owner's daughter.

Sure can u PM me. Is it a Dominican salon? I've been going to drybar for a yr now and retired the Dominican salons as they blowed my roots to death lol. But I need a salon in Long Island as I will be getting ready at the viana hotel
