Any Beatles songs for me and Dad to dance to?

He loves the Beatles so I thought it would be special... I am not a Beatles expert though. Anyone know of a good one for us to dance to? Thanks.

Was going to suggest the same ... it is one of my choices to dance with my father (but not the Beatles version)

Unless your name is Michelle , I think In My Life is the best song to dance with your dad to It's a really good song, but not too slow and mushy.

My dad and I are both Big Beatle fans and we are dancing to 'In My Life' too. It's a great song.

I looked at the lyrics, they were very nice. I wish Napster was still around! I want to hear it!

I really really love 'The Long and Winding Road' (I have seen it on some lists for mother/son songs). It is a great song but a real tearjerker. IMO

I looked up those lyrics and it was so sad. I will be a crying mess that day anyway so I cant handle even more motivation. Thanks for the idea though.

All suggested are good

Or 'Two of Us'

TWO OF US

LYRICS —

Two of us riding nowhere
Spending someone’s
Hard earned pay
Two of us sunday driving
Not arriving
On our way back home
We’re on our way home
We’re on our way home
We’re going home

Two of us sending postcards
Writing letters
On my wall
You and me burning matches
Lifting latches
On our way back home
We’re on our way home
We’re on our way home
We’re going home

You and I have memories
Longer than the road that stretches out ahead

Two of us wearing raincoats
Standing so low
In the sun
You and me chasing paper
Getting nowhere
On our way back home
We’re on our way home
We’re on our way home
We’re going home

You and I have memories
Longer than the road that stretches out ahead

Two of us wearing raincoats
Standing so low
In the sun
You and me chasing paper
Getting nowhere
On our way back home
We’re on our way home
We’re on our way home
We’re going home

We’re going home
Better believe it

I am not sure if it would work for you, but I love, 'Here, There, and Everywhere.'

A beatle class?

What school.. I want to go there.. since it's the only class I know I'll ACE hehe

I used to sit in school and start writing out all the Beatles songs in alphabetical order when I got bored. Or if I messed up the order I'd start by alphabetical album order then by track order by album. I can't do that anymore but I still get an odd feeling when I hear a beatle song and at the end Im already ready to start humming the next song on the record!

I assume it is still the same as when I did it about amonth ago.

I was going to maybe dance to 'michelle' with my dad, thats what he calls me (my middle name). dunno yet.

I'm a huge Beatle freak too. I wanted to use 'two of us' for our baby montage thingie.

I had a history of rock and roll class at Nassau. A huge part of it was dedicated to the Beatles. I was in heaven!!!! Best class EVER!!!
